The CEU is a quality standard in education and continuing training that should be promoted everywhere.<\/p>\n<p>The CEU is a measure that ensures the value and adherence to SOFEDUC\u2019s Quality Standards in the planning, organization, delivery, and evaluation of continuing education activities.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 24pt; color: #07838c;\">Fundamental Principles of the Continuing Education Unit (CEU)<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>In an environment marked by numerous transformations in recent years and in response to various challenges, anyone with the motivation to grow can learn throughout their lifetime.<\/p>\n<p>Both the training organization and the learner seek to ensure the recognition of the quality of the training, as well as the time and financial investment involved, in order to stand out in the marketplace. In this context, the Continuing Education Unit (CEU) clearly positions itself as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A standardized form of recognition for training and continuing education activities in which adults participate throughout their lives.<\/li>\n<li>A guarantee of compliance with Quality Standards for training and education activities.<\/li>\n<li>A commitment to sound pedagogical and administrative practices, with regular audits conducted by SOFEDUC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>An organization accredited by SOFEDUC acquires the status of Institutional Member. By displaying this status (Institutional Member logo) and issuing CEUs, it publicly demonstrates its adherence to SOFEDUC\u2019s Quality Standards and guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>For the learner, CEUs offered by a SOFEDUC-accredited organization represent:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A seal of quality for the continuing education they receive.<\/li>\n<li>Training designed with the learner\u2019s needs in mind, in terms of gaps to be filled, that is to say, the lack or inadequacy in terms of knowledge, skills, attitudes or the performance of persons to be trained.<\/li>\n<li>Identify sources of information (ex. organizational planning, market studies, official documents of governmental or para-governmental committees, survey with students or employers, links with the company\u2019s strategic objectives).<\/li>\n<li>Use several different sources of information.<\/li>\n<li>Establish an identification process of needs with validation mechanisms and adjustments (survey with participants who tatsu-rkOoNW6ja\" style=\"padding: 12px;\">Standard 6 \u2013 Assessment of Learning When a training activity or program results in the issuance of <i>CEU<\/i>, participants must demonstrate that they lead to a CEU completion certificate.<\/li>\n<li>Provide results to participants promptly.<\/li>\n<li>Align evaluation situations as closely as possible with real-world contexts where the learning will be applied.<\/li>\n<li>Implement a follow-up mechanism for learning assessment (depending on the organization\u2019s or client\u2019s context).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><h3 class=\"accordion-head
