Guide to Continuing Education Quality Standards
For excellence in continuing education.
Presentation
The Society for Continuing Education and Training (SOFEDUC) is the official body that accredits organizations and businesses for the issuance of Continuing Education Units (CEUs). It ensures, through various means, that its members adhere to high-quality criteria, both pedagogical and administrative, inspired by those of the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) in the United States.
SOFEDUC’s mission is to promote the use of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) as a means of recognizing the quality of continuing education activities.
SOFEDUC was founded in 1988 following a recommendation from the ACDEAULF (Canadian Association for the Education of Adults in French-language Universities) and with its contribution.
SOFEDUC is not a training organization and does not issue CEUs itself.
