SOFEDUC continues to support its institutional members through the many evolutions and transformations in the field of continuing education—a commitment that, for some, has spanned decades—and we look forward with enthusiasm to working alongside you for many years to come. Under the leadership of our new Executive Director, Ms. Catherine Dumas, we are firmly engaged in a digital transformation, with initiatives such as the integration of digital badges designed to provide members and partners with simplified access to information, more efficient accreditation processes, and improved communications. These modernized tools will allow you to discover our services more easily, stay informed about CEU developments, and benefit from an enhanced online experience, and we invite you to explore our website, learn more about our role, and join us in strengthening continuing education in Quebec and across Canada.

About CEU

One Continuing Education Unit (CEU) represents 10 hours of participation in a structured training activity, organized and delivered by an accredited organization, led by qualified instructors, and validated through an assessment.

Our mission

SOFEDUC is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote, recognize, and evaluate the quality of continuing education offered by public and private organizations in Canada, in accordance with ten quality standards.
